Bible-based versus Biblical
by Vanderhoven7 injehovah’s witnesses continue to say their religion is completely bible-based as if this proves they are the one true religion.. gilles gray writes:.
jehovah’s witnesses have a hard time understanding/accepting that the mere fact their teachings are ‘bible-based’ doesn’t establish that those teachings are true/biblical.. the most obvious, simple logic highlights their misconception….
jehovah’s witnesses and their organisation have a long history of untrue and failed bible teachings.. for example, the watchtower once claimed that:-.

What was your deconstruction process from being a jw?
by Touchofgrey ini became aware of jws and the un ,so i checked the internet and found it was true that they were a member, and that led me down the rabbits hole and started to look into the history of the bible students and the behaviour of russell and rutherford etc ,and how much the teaching changed and the internal politics and the failed end of the world teachings etc.. i then found myself in a no man's land regarding god and the bible, i then began to use critical thinking regarding the bible and if there was a god , looking into the origins of the bible and it's stories eg adam and eve story, flood legends, exodus from egypt and if the jesus story was historical or not etc .. looking at the origin of our universe and the planet earth led me to the conclusion that no god exists.
.
the purpose of this topic is just to understand your deconstruction purpose from the jws and not to get into arguments about our now held beliefs or lack of.

How Can The Governing Body Be Considered The "Channel Of Communication" From Jehovah Without Being Inspired . . . How Is That Possible???
by AbaddonProvesIt invideo # 1,246: how can the governing body be considered the "channel of communication" from jehovah without being inspired .
the collapse of governing body member jeffrey winder's arguments: a critical look at a jehovah's witness excuse [by watchtower examination, winston gillum - montego bay, jamaica].
the governing body of jehovah's witnesses believe & teach millions upon millions of jehovah's witnesses world wide that they as a body, are not inspired or infallible.

Time of the end - a TRINITY puzzler.
by BoogerMan in(matthew 24:36) “concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the son, but only the father.".
(jesus seems to have forgotten to include the holy spirit not knowing either).
(acts 1:7) "he said to them: “it does not belong to you to know the times or seasons that the father has placed in his own jurisdiction.".

How Did Watchtower Sell the "Jonadab" Concept ?
by Sea Breeze insimply put; gullible people were told if they chose life on earth instead of heaven, they wouldn't have to die.
that's how they sold it.
the watchtower lied to people in the 1920 booklet and convention series titled "millions now living will never die!

The Coming Global Salvation - (Not Universalism)
by Sea Breeze inthe overwhelming majority of the early church leaders (fathers) were premillennial and believed in a literal 1000 yr. kingdom.
today, 2/3 of christians are amillennial.
i do not want to imply that amilennialists, are not christian.

Place of a Skull...Whose Skull?
by peacefulpete ini'll just shoot this short comment that i found interesting.
the gospel of mark at 15:22 says: then they brought him to the place golgotha, which is translated, place of a/the skull (singular noun).. it might be surprising to learn there is no ancient record of any topographical location called "place of the skull".
so, is that because of loss of information or is it suggestive that the 'place of the skull' had more christological meaning?
